Water level monitoring for environmental field teams

Field loggers and selected water-quality probes send readings through cellular modems to the ROAK data portal. Environmental teams review trends, configured alarms and network records when arranging field work.

About Water level monitoring for environmental field teams

Environmental teams need water measurements associated with the monitoring locations that supplied them. Royal Eijkelkamp combines selected field instruments, modems and a data portal for groundwater and surface-water work. The arrangement brings available level, temperature and chosen water-quality records into the same monitoring workflow.

Diver is the water-level logger family, while Scuba probes supply the included water-quality measurements. Prime PRO300 connects a supported Diver, and the selected PRO400 arrangement adds suitable multi-sensor interfaces. Supported modem configurations use 4G, LTE-M or NB-IoT cellular service. The receiving connection supplies ROAK, the online environmental-data platform, with the recorded values. Staff select the represented parameters and locations for dashboard and report views.

The portal presents current records, historical data and configured warnings for review. Network managers use the chosen tools to plan activities and assign maintenance work to field teams. Analysts examine and validate received measurements, export selected information or share suitable data through application interfaces. A selected monitoring service adds installation, maintenance or control-room review for the included network. These functions relate the fitted instrument, its data path and the represented monitoring point during the team’s operational review.

How it works

Sense
Measure selected level, temperature and water-quality parameters.
Connect
Send instrument records through the selected cellular modem.
Analyze
Present received values, trends and configured alarms in ROAK.
Act
Review measurements and assign the chosen field maintenance work.

Questions and answers

How do Prime PRO300 and PRO400 sensor connections differ?

PRO300 connects one supported Diver logger. The selected PRO400 arrangement adds suitable RS-232, RS-485 or SDI-12 connections for compatible instruments.

Which interfaces connect a selected Scuba probe to telemetry equipment?

Supported probe arrangements use RS-232, SDI-12 or Modbus to connect suitable loggers, modems or control equipment.

What can the selected monitoring service add to a water network?

Service options cover installation, maintenance and monitoring. The control-room arrangement reviews included data and flags issues for the agreed network workflow.

How is the Prime modem battery-life option qualified?

The specified primary-lithium option is up to ten years and the alkaline option up to three years with 24-hour reporting. The chosen power and reporting arrangement must match the installation.

How is this deployment priced?
