Cameras on powered luminaires retain local recordings and provide calendar-based retrieval over cellular. Authorised staff inspect requested intervals, export selected footage and review the configured access history.

A community camera network can retain local recordings for later retrieval instead of relying on continuous viewing. Liveable Cities combines SLX-VIDEO, the luminaire-mounted camera, with remote video management for represented public spaces. Authorised teams select the location and time interval needed for an incident review, then examine or export the requested recording.
The camera obtains power from a compatible streetlight socket and records to an onboard memory card. LTE carries requested clips and on-demand streams to the selected video management system. Supplier-hosted Milestone software or a compatible customer system can be selected, with ONVIF streaming and recording interfaces assessed for that installation. Camera framing and privacy masks define the represented view, and card capacity and recording bitrate determine local retention.
The client application provides calendar-based retrieval, multi-camera views and export of received clips. Cloud storage retains retrieved material according to the selected arrangement; live streams are not automatically saved there. The workflow supports incident assessment and follow-up by the authorised team. Installation includes a suitable camera view, powered socket, cellular data plan and access permissions. The camera does not perform facial recognition or licence-plate recognition, and its standard hardware has no audio-recording microphone.

No. Live-stream video is not automatically saved to cloud storage. Retrieved edge recordings can be stored in the selected video management arrangement and exported separately.
A supplier-hosted Milestone system or a customer-supplied ONVIF system can be selected. Profile S supports streaming and Profile G supports edge-recording uploads, with compatibility checked for the particular system.
The standard camera does not perform facial or licence-plate recognition and is not equipped with an audio-recording microphone. Privacy masking and installation aiming control the represented view.
