Connected space sensors report vehicle presence in the monitored bay. A selected network and platform turn those changes into availability views for local operations and integrated guidance services.
Parking guidance needs current information from the spaces being represented. Libelium combines parking nodes, a selected wireless network and platform integration for occupancy monitoring in urban streets and private facilities. The nodes use radar and magnetic detection to determine whether a vehicle is present over the installed device.
When the space state changes, its record is sent through the selected LoRaWAN or NB-IoT arrangement. LoRaWAN uses gateways and a network server, while NB-IoT needs a compatible cellular service. The resulting records can connect to FIWARE, the customer's own platform or the supplier cloud. Availability views and downstream services use those events to represent monitored bays in the facility or wider parking area.
Installation requires suitable node positions, the matching network service and the chosen application interface. Surface and semi-underground mounting arrangements are available for selected nodes. Staff maintain the space inventory and check reported conditions when a bay or device needs attention. The application provides the occupancy record for integrated guidance or management, while the platform and additional services determine how it is presented to drivers rather than every node providing reservations or permit enforcement by itself.

No. Occupancy records can integrate with FIWARE, the customer's own platform or the supplier cloud. The project chooses the network server and application interface.
LoRaWAN uses suitable gateways and a network server. An NB-IoT installation needs compatible nodes and the selected cellular service.
Selected nodes offer surface or semi-underground mounting. The chosen device and bay conditions determine the installation arrangement.
