Insertion flow meters and pressure transmitters on potable water mains report over solar-powered LoRaWAN links, helping utilities spot leaks, pressure drops and non-revenue water early.

Flow-Pressure Monitor collects flow, pressure, moisture, and leak signals across water networks and treatment sites and sends the readings to a secure cloud application. Dashboards and configurable rules show abnormal flow, pressure, moisture, or level changes, retaining history by site, zone, or asset. This gives utility, operations, and maintenance teams the context to isolate the source and dispatch a response, helping them limit damage, waste, and service disruption and document the response.
Flow-Pressure Monitor is a pressure monitoring, leak detection solution by Sustech, delivered as Public SaaS, serving Energy & Utilities, Cities & Public Infrastructure.
Sensors are installed on the main pipelines: an insertion flow meter and a pressure transmitter measure real-time hydraulic parameters. These connect via Modbus protocol to a LoRaWAN-enabled communication device (through a Modbus-to-LoRaWAN converter). Power is supplied via solar panels for remote / off-grid locations. Data is transmitted over a LoRaWAN network gateway to a centralized SaaS / SCADA platform: specifically UtiliCore, which is web-based, GIS-integrated, with dashboards to view flow, pressure, trends etc. The platform supports real-time visualization, alerts when thresholds breach (leak / pressure anomalies), historical trend analysis, and remote control or diagnostics. The system is designed to avoid heavy civil works (little excavation / retrofitting) and support long-range wireless communications.
