Instrumented air freight units report cargo conditions to a connected monitoring service. Logistics teams check temperature events, share shipment records and arrange a handling response with their partners.
Monitoring an active air freight container gives pharmaceutical logistics teams a record of the conditions around their shipment. Envirotainer provides Live Monitoring with its RelEye family and E-Tech RAP e2 units. The portal presents temperature, location and door status during the monitored journey, with configured notifications for changes that need attention.
Built-in sensors collect container measurements while the unit's refrigeration system maintains the selected temperature setting. RelEye RAP includes cargo and ambient temperature sensors, humidity measurements, door status, battery level and location information. Its active refrigeration operates from the container power arrangement, with external mains charging for the battery. Connected monitoring brings the transmitted records into the portal, where shipment partners access the selected data. RelEye data also supports an API connection to customer systems.
Teams review an alert, check the shipment context and contact the handling party about the required response. RelEye leases include the Control Tower service, whose operators monitor events and contact the customer or forwarder. Shipment Reports provide a later record of the monitored journey in the portal after return to a service station. Logistics and quality staff use those records for their own shipment assessment and handling review.

Live Monitoring is included with the RelEye family and E-Tech RAP e2. The two families provide their corresponding connected container records.
Its sensors include cargo and ambient temperatures, humidity, door status, battery level and GPS location, as well as whether cargo is loaded inside.
Yes. The RelEye API supports integration of live monitoring data with customer systems, and portal data sharing gives selected stakeholders access.
The service team monitors RelEye events and contacts the customer or forwarder about readings that depart from the expected parameters. It is included with RelEye leases.
The Shipment Report is provided in the portal within 48 hours of return to a service station. It contains the recorded journey conditions.
Every page carries a cost estimate by IoT Apps for your own sites and assets; set your budget and invite Envirotainer to confirm a price and lead time.
For 1 site with 10 monitored assets in United States, IoT Apps estimates $1,800 – $6,200 in the first year and $300 – $1,200 every year after. This is an estimate based on comparable deployments, not a quote from Envirotainer.
