Noise and vibration monitoring for construction sites

Field instruments stream sound and vibration readings to a cloud workspace using encrypted messaging. Environmental teams review exceedances, adjust devices remotely and produce reports across projects.

About Noise and vibration monitoring for construction sites

Cadence is Acoem's environmental monitoring software for consultants, project managers and public authorities. It collects sound and vibration measurements across cities, construction sites, industrial plants, wind farms and airports. A shared workspace brings individual instruments and larger networks into the same monitoring workflow, giving teams a view of environmental conditions across their projects.

Cube, Fusion and Orion are acoustic monitoring instruments, while ACT-400 supplies vibration measurements. Connected devices send data using MQTTs, encrypted machine messaging, to the cloud platform. Dashboards show levels, heatmaps and event indicators. Authorized users change device settings remotely and compare current readings with historical acoustic data. APIs connect the service with other information systems.

When a sound limit is exceeded, automated analysis identifies recognized primary and secondary noise sources for review. Remote notifications direct staff to the event, and reporting tools assemble the results. Stakeholder communication uses the same records as the technical investigation. Central project management and remote configuration reduce separate software tasks and repeated visits to instruments.
