The challenge

What operators are up against

Deep-well operators often depend on infrequent manual measurements that require travel, specialist tools, and work near hazardous openings. Sparse readings can miss fast drawdown or delayed recovery across multiple sites. Water agencies, farms, and industrial users need continuous level evidence and clear critical thresholds. Late information can disrupt pumping plans and field response.

The solution

How Deep Well Water Level Monitoring addresses it

Deep Well Water Level Monitoring lowers a cabled sensor into an aquifer well and measures water level continuously at depths supported by the installation. A 4G LTE connection sends readings to a web platform with maps, histories, charts, configurable ranges, and SMS alerts. Operators review critical conditions remotely and prioritize field measurement, pumping changes, or maintenance.

How it works

A cabled Flowi Pozos sensor is installed from the wellhead toward the pumping zone and powered by cable, battery, or supported solar supply. It measures water level continuously and sends the readings over 4G LTE to the web platform. Operators view sensor locations, current levels, historical charts, and configured ranges across multiple wells. When a level reaches a defined condition, the system sends an SMS alert that guides field verification, pumping decisions, and maintenance.

SenseA cabled depth sensor is lowered into an aquifer well to measure water level continuously near the installed pumping zone.
Connect4G LTE transmits well-level readings to Assetel’s web monitoring platform, while SMS carries critical-condition alerts.
AnalyzeThe platform maps sensors, charts histories, applies configurable level ranges, and flags critical well conditions.
ActOperators verify flagged wells, adjust pumping schedules, dispatch field measurements, or arrange sensor and pump service.

Evidence level: L1 · Vendor-stated: how evidence levels work

Why teams choose it

Fewer Manual Trips: Review well levels remotely before dispatching field measurement teams

Earlier Level Warning: Alert operators when a monitored well reaches a critical condition

Better Pumping Decisions: Compare current and historical levels before changing extraction plans

Safer Field Work: Reduce routine measurements near deep well openings and pumping equipment

Continuous Level Sensing

Measures aquifer well levels automatically through an installed cabled sensor

Deep-Well Installation

Supports monitoring across deep wells with the sensor positioned above the pump

Cellular Data Transfer

Sends measurements to the web platform through a documented 4G LTE connection

Mapped Well Inventory

Geolocates installed sensors for multi-well operations and field planning

Configurable Level Alerts

Applies operator-defined ranges and sends SMS when critical conditions occur

Historical Level Charts

Preserves well measurements for drawdown, recovery, and seasonal comparison
