CellPoint for power outage and restoration alerts

Relay-state endpoints send power-loss events over cellular links to a notification portal. Site operators receive SMS or email warnings, review sustained outages and follow event clearance after the monitored supply returns.

About CellPoint for power outage and restoration alerts

Power-state events help site operators follow supply interruptions across remote equipment and facilities. DataStream IoT combines relay monitoring with cellular telemetry and notification software. The workflow brings outage events, restoration checks and endpoint-status messages into the team’s routine response to changes at the monitored installation.

CellPoint, the battery-powered event endpoint, continuously samples a connected outage-detection relay. An open state that persists beyond the configured period triggers a message. A cellular link carries the event to DataSense, the notification portal. The endpoint sends a daily keep-alive message to show its operating status. Pit, wall and pole installation accessories support placement around the monitored equipment.

DataSense sends SMS or email notifications to the responsible operators after receiving an outage event. The endpoint continues checking the relay and clears the alert after power remains restored for the configured clear time. Staff use these event and status messages when checking equipment and organising their follow-up work. The monitoring arrangement supplies a remote record of the power-state change and its return through the site’s established operating procedure.

How it works

Sense
Continuously check the connected power-detection relay.
Connect
Transmit outage events over cellular links to the portal.
Analyze
Apply configured relay-persistence and restoration periods.
Act
Send SMS or email warnings and clear restored-power events.
