Cora tags with shock, motion and temperature sensing follow bags over LoRaWAN with BLE indoor assist, so airlines detect loss, rough handling or unauthorized opening in transit.

Ports, airports, rail yards, and terminals depend on conditions and assets that change between scheduled inspections. Changes in equipment condition may emerge without a clear indication of which site, zone, or asset needs attention. Fleet, logistics, and operations teams often rely on manual readings and disconnected systems, making it hard to compare current conditions with normal operation. This delays response and increases the chance of downtime, waste, safety exposure, or service disruption.
Codepoint Luggage Tracking collects location, movement, and asset-status signals across ports, airports, rail yards, and terminals and sends the readings to a cloud or on-premises application. Dashboards and configurable rules show asset health, operating state, and abnormal trends, retaining history by site, zone, or asset. This gives fleet, logistics, and operations teams the context to inspect or service the affected asset, helping them shorten response time and protect service continuity and document the response.
Each piece of luggage is fitted with a Cora tag (for example, the CT100x Flex Tracker, or the smaller Micro CT102x tags) or a similar Cora/CP-Flex powered device. These tags include sensors for vibration/shock, motion, and temperature, plus buttons or LEDs for status indications. They support multiple location modes: LoRaWAN for long-range tracking, and BLE/WiFi for last-mile or indoor location precision when available. Tags store data when out of network and upload when connectivity is restored. The CP-Flex platform handles provisioning, firmware updates (OTA), message translation, and indoor/outdoor location computation. Integration is possible via APIs with airline or baggage-handling systems and middleware.
