IP67 trackers combine LoRaWAN with BLE and Wi-Fi positioning plus shock sensing to flag tampering and speed stolen-bike recovery for owners, OEMs, and rental fleets.

Parks, venues, and recreational facilities depend on conditions and assets that change between scheduled inspections. Lost visibility as assets move may emerge without a clear indication of which site, zone, or asset needs attention. Municipal, public-works, and service teams often rely on manual readings and disconnected systems, making it hard to compare current conditions with normal operation. This delays response and increases the chance of downtime, waste, safety exposure, or service disruption.
Codepoint Bike Tracking collects location, movement, and asset-status signals across parks, venues, and recreational facilities and sends the readings to a cloud or on-premises application. Dashboards and configurable rules show current location, movement history, and status, retaining history by site, zone, or asset. This gives municipal, public-works, and service teams the context to recover, dispatch, or rebalance assets, helping them reduce search time and improve asset use and document the response.
This solution is powered by Codepoint’s Cora CP-Flex platform and employs trackers such as the CT1000 (Flex Trackers) or Micro trackers (CT1020/CT1021). These devices support LoRaWAN Class A/C communication plus BLE/WiFi for indoor/outdoor location. Bike tags are rugged (IP67), include sensors for vibration/shock, motion, temperature, and have long battery life (many locates per charge). The tag is mounted on the bike, configured via scripts (no need for firmware re-certification to change behavior), and data transmitted over LoRaWAN (or via Codepoint’s cloud stack) to dashboards, alerting services, or integrations. When bikes move (or a panic / tamper event occurs), the system sends alerts; location history and tracking are provided through an app or third-party middleware.
