CO2 records and alerts for indoor rooms

Battery CO2 sensors send room readings over LoRaWAN to cloud dashboards and event rules. Facilities teams compare spaces, follow threshold notifications and examine reports alongside the room’s ventilation workflow.

About CO2 records and alerts for indoor rooms

Room CO2 measurements help facilities teams examine indoor conditions across offices, classrooms and meeting spaces. Datacake combines supported wireless sensors with dashboards and threshold rules. The application brings room readings, event records and reporting functions together for the team’s indoor-environment review.

The ELSYS ERS CO2, a battery-powered room sensor, supplies CO2, temperature and humidity inputs along with light and motion measurements. It transmits through LoRaWAN and uses replaceable AA batteries. A gateway links the room sensors with the cloud platform and its network service. Device templates decode the payload into measurement values. Floor-plan views associate the readings with rooms, while the Rule Engine evaluates configured thresholds and time-window conditions.

Facilities staff receive notifications for monitored changes and examine the affected room’s recorded values. Escalation and acknowledgement functions support the response workflow. Scheduled PDF reports provide trends and measurement tables for the monitored spaces, and raw-data exports support further analysis. These CO2 records and platform functions give the team context for checking room conditions and following its building’s ventilation operating procedures.

Questions and answers

What powers the ELSYS ERS CO2 room sensor?

The supported sensor uses replaceable AA batteries.

Which measurements accompany CO2 in the ELSYS room-sensor record?

It also provides temperature, humidity, light and motion inputs.

Can a CO2 alert include both a concentration threshold and a time window?

Yes. The Rule Engine supports thresholds and time-window conditions for the configured room event.

Can a room CO2 report be generated automatically as a PDF?

Yes. Scheduled reports include trends and measurement tables for monitored rooms or zones.

How is this deployment priced?

Every page carries a cost estimate by IoT Apps for your own sites and assets; set your budget and invite Datacake to confirm a price and lead time.

What does a deployment cost?

For 1 site with 10 monitored assets in United States, IoT Apps estimates $1,900 – $5,800 in the first year and $300 – $1,000 every year after. This is an estimate based on comparable deployments, not a quote from Datacake.
