DriveWell Fleet

Existing telematics feeds or windshield devices send driving records into a portal for commercial risk analysis. Insurers, fleet managers and brokers review vehicle behaviour and use the results in underwriting or coaching.

About DriveWell Fleet

Commercial fleet risk analysis combines driving records with the insurance review workflow. Cambridge Mobile Telematics provides DriveWell Fleet, a platform that accepts existing telematics data and adds its own devices for unconnected vehicles. The application presents a shared view for commercial insurers, fleet managers, agents, brokers and telematics service providers.

Connected fleets use the Bring Your Own Device platform, an API arrangement that normalises records from supported telematics providers. For light-duty Class 1–4 vehicles, Tag Pro is a windshield device that uploads driving data through a proprietary mesh network. Tag Max serves Class 5 and heavier vehicles and adds solar power, LTE cellular service and GPS. Both device options attach to the windshield, giving the platform an additional record route for vehicles outside an existing connected fleet.

The portal brings the received driving data and risk analysis into one operating interface. Insurers use the records during pricing and segmentation, while fleet managers examine safety performance and the effect of their programs. Agents and brokers can review risk trends with the participating fleet. The consent workflow supports enrolment, connecting the selected vehicles and data providers with the commercial insurance program's ongoing assessment and driver-improvement work.
