Cicicom Smart Parking Management combines surface-mounted SLG-I3/I4 sensors with the SmartGrid platform and mobile apps to detect and act on parking occupancy. Each sensor reports a bay as occupied or vacant over LoRaWAN or NB-IoT, while the platform maps live availability, detects overstays, unpaid sessions, and reserved-bay misuse, and exposes analytics on turnover, demand, and revenue. Drivers are guided to free spaces and pay in-app, and officers receive located violation alerts. This creates a repeatable response to changing parking demand and compliance.
An operator defines the controlled parking zones, bay types, time limits, tariffs, and reserved designations, then installs a Cicicom sensor in each space and configures users and integrations. During operation, sensors detect vehicle presence with triple-detection sensing and report occupancy changes over LoRaWAN or NB-IoT to the SmartGrid platform. The platform updates live availability, evaluates each session against the configured rules, and flags overstays, unpaid parking, and reserved-bay misuse. Drivers use the Citizen app to find and pay for spaces, enforcement officers receive located alerts in the Enforcement app, and managers review occupancy, turnover, and revenue analytics to adjust tariffs and staffing.
