How CI EnergyOpt addresses it

CI EnergyOpt collects meter, flow, and equipment-status readings across commercial buildings and workplaces and sends the readings to a secure cloud application. Dashboards and configurable rules show asset health, operating state, and abnormal trends, retaining history by site, zone, or asset. This gives facility, property, and energy teams the context to inspect or service the affected asset, helping them shorten response time and protect service continuity and document the response.

How it works

Wireless, battery-powered IoT sensors deployed throughout building spaces monitor environmental metrics continuously. The system supports monitoring pressure differentials to gauge building envelope efficiency (doors/windows, ventilation). It integrates with existing HVAC/BMS systems and supports energy efficient network connectivity. This solution is used in commercial buildings and shared workspaces; for example, in a case study with Technopolis (shared workspace operator) they achieved around 30% energy saving in heating and 50% in ventilation.
