Per-pitch smart meters let campground operators bill guests fairly, cap power remotely to prevent overloads, and offer prepaid or premium energy packages over LoRaWAN.

Parks, venues, and recreational facilities depend on conditions and assets that change between scheduled inspections. Developing equipment faults may emerge without a clear indication of which site, zone, or asset needs attention. Municipal, public-works, and service teams often rely on manual readings and disconnected systems, making it hard to compare current conditions with normal operation. This delays response and increases the chance of downtime, waste, safety exposure, or service disruption.
Campsite energy monitoring collects meter, flow, and equipment-status readings across parks, venues, and recreational facilities and sends the readings to a secure cloud application. Dashboards and configurable rules show condition trends and early fault indicators, retaining history by site, zone, or asset. This gives municipal, public-works, and service teams the context to plan maintenance before failure, helping them reduce unplanned downtime and unnecessary service and document the response.
Smart energy meters are installed at each campsite pitch and communicate wirelessly via LoRaWAN to a central management platform. Consumption data is transmitted continuously and visualized in a web portal or smartphone app. Operators can remotely set power limits, disconnect or reconnect the supply, and configure automated rules. When a defined threshold is exceeded, the system can automatically cut power to protect infrastructure. Integration with booking or payment systems enables prepaid or consumption-based energy billing.
