Linked inventory and mission software assigns pallet tasks, manages robot routes and displays fleet progress. Warehouse operators follow the storage moves, review exceptions and intervene through authorised controls.
A pallet movement needs both a destination decision and a robot able to execute it. Balyo links its driverless forklifts through two software layers: Storage Optimizer for selected inventory and placement rules, and Robot Manager for mission execution. Together they connect warehouse planning with the tasks assigned to the autonomous fleet.
Storage Optimizer tracks stock and displays occupied zones, with tailored rules deciding where and when a pallet should move. The standard package supports inventory views, while more complex stacking or routing logic requires an agreed custom setup. Robot movements update stock records, and authorised staff can also edit pallet attributes or import adjustments. The linked mission system assigns tasks, manages queues and permits selected robots on designated routes.
Robot Manager can receive commands from an existing warehouse management system or launch tasks directly from its interface at a site without one. A live map shows robot positions, charge levels and selected infrastructure such as doors, racks and charging stations. User roles govern who can pause, resume or cancel work within the local corporate network. The installation needs the selected driverless fleet, mapped routes and agreed system interfaces before software decisions can become physical pallet moves.

Mobile robots share tasks over WiFi, moving pallets and dollies between pickup and delivery points.
Storage Optimizer applies the selected placement and movement rules, then passes tasks to Robot Manager for execution by the fleet.
Yes. Robot Manager can create and launch tasks through its interface, while also supporting commands from an existing warehouse management system.
The standard package provides inventory and zone views. Advanced stacking, multi-item cells or complex routing require a tailored setup agreed for the operation.
Task intervention depends on assigned user access. Authorised operators can pause, resume or cancel work through the interface.

For 1 site with 10 monitored assets in United States, IoT Apps estimates $2,100 – $7,500 in the first year and $400 – $1,500 every year after. This is an estimate based on comparable deployments, not a quote from Balyo.
