The challenge

What operators are up against

Manufacturers running discrete and process lines struggle to see what their machines are actually doing. Critical signals stay trapped in isolated PLCs, historians, and paper logs, so micro-stops, quality drift, and energy waste go unnoticed until they surface in the monthly numbers. Teams spend hours stitching context from separate systems instead of acting, and dashboards report what already happened rather than what to do next.

The solution

How ARDICTECH Sentient Factory Manufacturing Intelligence addresses it

ARDICTECH Sentient Factory overlays existing plant equipment rather than replacing it. The IoT-Ignite edge foundation collects machine and sensor data on the shop floor, ArMES turns those raw signals into OEE, quality, and traceability records, and ArAI applies causal reasoning to surface losses and prescriptive actions. Operators monitor live production, receive early warnings on defects and downtime, and can query the factory in plain language, creating a repeatable loop from edge signal to corrective action.

How it works

A deployment begins by identifying the target lines, machines, and operating objectives, then installing the IoT-Ignite edge agent and connecting it to PLCs and sensors through read-only OPC-UA, Modbus, and MQTT profiles. The gateway collects and processes shop-floor data locally, ArMES adds the who, what, and when of production and tracks OEE and quality against configured thresholds, and ArAI models correlate the telemetry to flag likely defects and energy losses in advance. Operators and managers review live status, trends, and prescriptive alerts or ask the Chat With Your Factory agents for answers, then feed outcomes back to refine the models.

SenseIoT-Ignite edge agents capture machine states, PLC tags, sensor readings, and production events directly from the shop floor.
ConnectThe edge gateway links factory PLCs and sensors via OPC-UA, Modbus, and MQTT, feeding the on-premise ArMES and ArAI applications.
AnalyzeArMES contextualizes signals into OEE, quality, and traceability records, while ArAI applies causal reasoning to predict drift and prescribe corrective actions.
ActOperators act on live dashboards and prescriptive alerts, adjust processes and energy use, and query the factory through conversational agents.

Why teams choose it

Recovered hidden capacity: Surfaces micro-stops and speed losses that paper logs and legacy systems miss.

Higher yield: Real-time monitoring and predictive quality reduce defects and scrap.

Lower energy cost: Prescriptive optimization targets energy and resource waste on the production line.

Faster decisions: Contextualized data and conversational access replace hours of manual data stitching.

Edge data collection

IoT-Ignite agents gather and process machine and sensor data at the source in milliseconds.

Protocol-agnostic connectivity

Connects legacy and modern PLCs via OPC-UA, Modbus, and MQTT without rip-and-replace.

Real-time OEE and quality

ArMES tracks overall equipment effectiveness and enforces quality checkpoints on the line.

Production traceability

A digital thread correlates every raw-material lot to the finished unit across the lifecycle.

Prescriptive AI

ArAI predicts quality drift and optimizes energy use from real-time and historical production data.

Conversational access

Chat With Your Factory lets any authorized user query production status in plain language.
