The challenge
Scottsdale Water needed to find previously unknown distribution leaks efficiently across a large network, including leaks under complex road infrastructure.
The approach
FIDO deployed 293 acoustic sensors over 15 miles, analyzed leak signatures in the cloud and prioritized precise investigation locations through its workflow.
The results
The deployment identified hidden leaks, including a 10-gallon-per-minute leak beneath a seven-lane road, and documented savings of 25,920 gallons per day-about 9.46 million gallons annually.
